A camper is a vehicle which serves both as a means of transport as well as a space for living. It is in fact a house on wheels, built around a motor-chassis. You can drive all haff campers in the Campervan, Premium and Exclusive ranges if you hold a B category driver's license (they do not exceed 3,5 tons).

Yes. Currently, there officially are 57 accredited campsites in Romania. Also, you can go "wild camping"; simply in the middle of the nature, with the observance of the following precautions: the land on which you camp is not private property; if yes, please ask for permission (Romanians are very interested in foreign cultures and you will instantly get approval); make sure camping is not prohibited on that land (wildlife reserve, for example); do not discharge the waste water or the toilet tank in the nature; leave the camping site intact when leaving; take precautions against the wildlife in the area (bears come frequently drawn by the food waste left outside during night-time); the land is not soft or sandy (the camper will get stuck). Even though it is said that we do not have camping sites like in the western Europe, the roads are bad etc., Romania is a top destination for traveling in a camper. The main reason is the nature which is almost untouched by human hand (as a difference from the rest of Europe); the charm of Romanian villages and traditions; the incredible fauna in the Romanian mountains, Danube Delta, Transylvania. And many other hundreds of attractions. Camper tours organized by the big European companies with Romania as their destination are sold 2 years in advance. Moreover, the risk of theft from a camper in Romania is much lower than in certain European regions.

In general, campers are considered M1 type special motor vehicles. This means that in most cases they involve the same costs (vignette) as small cars. Exceptions are the countries with highway tolls, where the fees may be up to 30% higher than for small cars.

In the case of campers, the cruising speed is approx. 30% lower than the one of passenger cars. From a legal viewpoint, there is no special limitation for campers, they are subjected to the same restrictions as cars. On motorways we recommend a cruising speed of 100-110 km/h. On national roads: 80 km/h. Increased caution must be taken on curvy roads: the weight and height may cause tilting. In general, on these roads a 10 km/h lower speed than the limit indicated on the road sing placed on that road is recommended.

During the summer months, they can be occupied at full capacity (6 persons), but for the winter months, due to the fact that a lot more time is spent on the inside, we recommend a 4-person occupancy. The beds as placed as follows: - overcabin models (space on top of the driving cabin): double bed on top of the cabin, rear double bed (or 2 bunk beds, depending on the model), convertible double bed in the living/dining area.

Our campers are equipped as follows: bike rack (2-4 bikes) retractable awning a consumables set (gas - 1 connected gas cylinder, one spare gas cylinder; chemical substances for the ecotoilet; water-soluble toilet paper). You must bring: bed lining, including pillows and blankets (if the case); kitchen set (disposable tableware, special pots, etc.). We recommend you to reduce the traditional table ware to a minimum; due to motion, they produce noise during travelling. We rather recommend paper or carton disposable kitchen ware. towels and personal hygiene items. If you need all of the above, we have a large selection of accessories (camping tables, chairs, bikes, GPS, SUPs, inflatable boats, bed linen, towels, kitchen kits, bbq kit, wildlife kit) which you may select at the moment of booking or right prior to your arrival. If you travel by plane we recommend selecting one of the accessories packages. Your car may remain within our premises, during your vacation(only with confirmation in advance).

Yes, the camper can be driven by any person with the minimum age of 30 and holding a B cat. driver's license for at least 10 years (haff internal requirement). There is a charge for additional drivers. We have no limit for the number of drivers per rental.

You can park anywhere as campers have the same regime as small cars. Nevertheless, if, for example, you want to remain overnight on the highway, you must consider the following: you are not allowed to extend the awning or to install on the outside the camping table and chairs. This may be considered camping in a non-designated place and you will be fined by the police in the relevant country (they immediately come to check as soon as you parked); in certain European countries you are not allowed to drink alcohol in the camper if you are parked and the curtains do not cover the windows; it may be considered as driving under the influence and you can be fined. most gas stations abroad have specially designated places for campers, which allow you to supply the camper with water, to discharge waste waters and to empty the toilet tank, free of charge; in Romania, these facilities are not available yet and the supply of water can be made in gas stations and the waste waters can be discharged in the sewerage network. in Romania you may camp everywhere under the condition that the land is no private property and you remove the trash.

Seldom, the following types of failures may occur with campers: Motor vehicle failure Interior systems / living area failures In case of motor vehicle failure: haff campers are new models (2018 & 2019), hence a failure is unlikely. Nevertheless, in case it happens, please contact us immediatelyand describe the issue. If the camper cannot be moved, you must call Fiat Camper Assistance, using the European road assistance telephone number: 00800 34281111* or, alternatively, 0039 024441 2160. The interventions (towing, repair under European guarantee) are free of charge. In case of living space / interior systems failure: please check the manual on board first. At the same time, please send us a short message on Whatsapp, we'll get back to you very promptly, irrespective of the hours. In over 95% of the cases we can identify and solve the issue together, in less than 2 minutes.

First of all, you must make sure that all the passengers are safe and in a protected area. Please inform us immediately by e-mail or on Whatsapp about the damages resulted in the accident, about whether the camper can travel and you must obtain a report from the competent bodies (police etc.). Haff campers have full Casco insurance coverage (with a collision damage waiver as per your booking package).

No, haff campers have no mileage limit. We consider traveling in a camper as being free and spontaneous, therefore we do not want to impose limitations. As they are large motor vehicles, you must consider that any distance exceeding 600 km / day becomes very exhausting.

Yes. We are covered both by RCA mandatory insurance, as well as Casco optional insurance, valid throughout Europe. Certain countries are not included in the RCA insurance policy (such as Albania, Bosnia etc.); you are bound to check the policy and to conclude a separate policy when entering the relevant country. Traveling to Turkey and former Soviet countries is not permitted.

Unfortunately, in most cases this is not possible. There are reservations made with a 4-hour break between rentals, and except for the exceptional cases when we have availability, we cannot extend your reservation.

The minimum rental period is of 3 nights, except for the summer season (7 nights). The maximum rental period: we do not rent our campers for periods exceeding 90 days (due to technical inspections which are necessary from time to time).

There is a variable deposit, depending on your booked package, to be paid only by credit / debit card issued on the name of the contract titular . The deposit is payable at least 10 days prior to the motor vehicle's take-over, by means of secured payment / transfer link and will be returned within 72 hours after the motor vehicle is returned in the same condition. The deposit will not be debited, but allocated in an intermediate account throughout the rental period. haff does not request or store information about the debit / credit card holder's identification data: these will be processed by an authorised processor . Cash deposits are not accepted.

We recommend you contacting us immediately. There is no reservation rule; for example, the 2018 summer season was already 60% booked by October 2017. We do not make reservations sooner than 1 day from the reservation moment (due to preliminary client verification procedures and camper allocation).
